RETURN & REFUND POLICY

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all return, replacement, refund, and dispute-related requests made in relation to purchases from www.getmonde.com (“Website”), operated by Monde (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service and Shipping Policy and must be read in conjunction with them.
By placing an order, the customer (“you”, “user”, “buyer”) expressly agrees to be bound by this Policy.
1. GENERAL RETURN POSITION
1.1 Due to the nature of artificial anti-tarnish jewelry, hygiene considerations, design sensitivity, and risk of misuse, returns and refunds are highly restricted.
1.2 Monde does not operate a “no-questions-asked” return system.
1.3 All returns, refunds, or replacements are exception-based, not guaranteed, and subject to strict verification.
2. ELIGIBLE GROUNDS FOR RETURN CONSIDERATION
A return or refund request may be considered only under the following limited circumstances:

The product received is materially different from the product ordered, OR
-
The product has a manufacturing defect present at the time of dispatch
Subject always to compliance with Section 3 (Mandatory Evidence Requirements).
3. MANDATORY EVIDENCE REQUIREMENTS (STRICT)
Any return, refund, or replacement request shall be automatically rejected unless ALL of the following are provided:
3.1 A single, continuous, unedited unboxing video, clearly showing:

The sealed package with shipping label visible

The package being opened
-
The product fully revealed
-
The alleged issue clearly identifiable
3.2 The video must:

Be recorded in good lighting
-
Have no cuts, pauses, edits, filters, or overlays
-
Be submitted within the defined reporting window
3.3 Screenshots, images, partial videos, or edited clips are not acceptable.
Failure to meet any of the above conditions renders the claim invalid.
4. REPORTING WINDOW (TIME-BOUND)
4.1 All issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery confirmation.
4.2 Requests raised after this period shall be summarily rejected, irrespective of reason.
4.3 Monde is under no obligation to consider delayed claims.
5. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE CATEGORIES
The following are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

Used, worn, tried-on, or tampered products

Products exposed to water, sweat, perfume, chemicals, or improper storage

Minor color, size, or finish variations
-
Subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., “didn’t like it”, “looked different online”)

Normal wear and tear of artificial jewelry
-
Free gifts, promotional items, or discounted products
6. INVALID & FRAUDULENT CLAIMS (AUTOMATIC REJECTION)
The following shall be deemed invalid grounds for return, refund, or replacement:

Claiming non-delivery despite courier confirmation
-
Claiming empty box or missing item without valid unboxing video
-
Damage caused post-delivery
-
Address or delivery issues attributable to customer error
-
Courier delay-related dissatisfaction
-
Claims raised after chargeback initiation
-
Repeated or patterned claims indicating misuse
Monde reserves the right to deny claims without further explanation where fraud or abuse is suspected.
7. INSPECTION & DECISION AUTHORITY
7.1 All approved requests are subject to internal inspection and verification.
7.2 Monde’s determination regarding:

Product condition
-
Validity of evidence
-
Eligibility for return/refund
shall be final and binding.
7.3 Monde is not obligated to disclose internal evaluation criteria.
8. RETURN SHIPPING PROCESS (IF APPROVED)
8.1 If a return is approved:

The customer may be required to self-ship the product
-
Shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated
8.2 Products must be returned:

In original condition
-
With original packaging, tags, and inserts
-
Without any signs of use or damage
Failure to comply voids eligibility.
9. REFUND STRUCTURE (LIMITED)
9.1 Refunds, if approved, may be issued as:

Store credit, OR
-
Partial monetary refund
at Monde’s sole discretion.
9.2 Original shipping charges, COD charges, convenience fees, and payment gateway fees are non-refundable.
9.3 Refunds are processed only after successful inspection and may take 7–14 business days or longer depending on payment method.
10. CHARGEBACK & DISPUTE ABUSE
10.1 Initiating a chargeback without contacting official customer support constitutes a breach of this Policy.
10.2 Monde reserves the right to:

Contest chargebacks

Suspend or permanently block accounts
-
Recover losses through legal means
11. POLICY MISUSE & BLACKLISTING
Customers found to be abusing the return system may be:

Blacklisted from future purchases
-
Denied service without notice
12. MODIFICATIONS TO POLICY
Monde reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of order placement shall apply.
13. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction vested in competent Indian courts.
