This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs the shipment, dispatch, delivery, and related terms for all purchases made through www.getmonde.com, operated by Monde (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order on the Website, the customer (“you”, “user”, “buyer”) agrees to be legally bound by the terms set forth herein.


1. PRODUCT NATURE & HANDLING DISCLOSURE

1.1 Monde sells artificial anti-tarnish jewelry, which requires careful handling, secure packaging, and controlled dispatch to preserve finish, plating, and structural integrity.

1.2 All products are inspected prior to dispatch and packed using industry-standard protective materials suitable for jewelry shipping.


2. ORDER PROCESSING & PACKING TIMELINE

2.1 Order Packing:
All confirmed and successfully paid orders are packed within 6 (six) hours from the time of order confirmation, excluding force majeure events.

2.2 Order Dispatch:
Orders are dispatched within the next 12 (twelve) hours following packing, subject to courier pickup schedules, public holidays, regional restrictions, or extraordinary circumstances.

2.3 Orders placed after daily courier cut-off times may be dispatched on the following business day.


3. SHIPPING & DELIVERY TIMELINES

3.1 Delivery timelines vary by location, courier serviceability, weather conditions, governmental regulations, and logistical constraints.

3.2 Estimated delivery times provided at checkout or via communication are indicative only and not guaranteed delivery dates.

3.3 Monde shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier or logistics partner delays

  • Natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, or acts of God

  • Incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer

  • Failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability


4. SHIPPING ADDRESS RESPONSIBILITY

4.1 Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that:

  • The shipping address is complete, accurate, and deliverable

  • Correct PIN code / ZIP code is provided

  • Contact number is active and reachable

4.2 Monde shall not be liable for non-delivery, delay, or loss arising from:

  • Incorrect address details

  • Incomplete address

  • Incorrect contact information

Orders returned due to address issues may be subject to re-shipping charges.


5. RISK TRANSFER & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

5.1 Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon successful delivery as marked by the courier.

5.2 Delivery is deemed complete when:

  • Courier tracking shows “Delivered”, or

  • Delivery is accepted by the customer or any person present at the delivery address, or

  • Courier provides delivery confirmation (including OTP, signature, photo, or system log)

5.3 Monde is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage after delivery confirmation.


6. INVALID CLAIMS & ANTI-FRAUD PROVISIONS

To protect against fraudulent or bad-faith claims, the following reasons shall be considered invalid grounds for dispute, refund, replacement, or chargeback, unless proven otherwise with verifiable evidence:

6.1 False Non-Delivery Claims

  • Claiming non-receipt despite courier delivery confirmation

  • Claiming non-delivery when delivery was accepted by household members, security, neighbors, or reception staff

6.2 Address-Related Claims

  • Incorrect address entered by the customer

  • Failure to receive due to wrong PIN code or locality

  • Refusal to accept delivery at provided address

6.3 Delay-Based Claims

  • Delays caused by courier operations, weather, regional disruptions, or force majeure

  • Delays due to customer unavailability or failed delivery attempts

6.4 Unboxing & Packaging Claims

  • Claims made without a clear, unedited unboxing video recorded from sealed package to product reveal

  • Claims of empty box, missing item, or damage without required video proof

6.5 Intentional Misuse or Wear

  • Damage, discoloration, or tarnish caused by improper storage, exposure to water, chemicals, sweat, perfumes, or rough usage

  • Normal wear and tear of artificial jewelry

6.6 Chargeback Abuse

  • Filing payment disputes without contacting customer support

  • Repeated or intentional false claims may result in account suspension and legal action

Monde reserves the right to reject any claim found to be fraudulent, misleading, or unsupported.


7. COURIER & LOGISTICS PARTNERS

7.1 Monde works with third-party courier and logistics providers.

7.2 Once dispatched, tracking details are shared with the customer.

7.3 Monde’s liability is limited to coordination and support with the courier and does not extend to courier negligence beyond reasonable control.


8. FORCE MAJEURE

Monde shall not be liable for failure or delay in shipping caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government actions or restrictions

  • Lockdowns or public emergencies

  • Courier network failures


9. CUSTOMER SUPPORT & COMMUNICATION

For shipping-related queries, customers must contact official Monde support channels provided on the Website.

Claims or concerns raised outside official communication channels may not be entertained.


10. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

Monde reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on the Website at the time of order placement shall govern the transaction.


11. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Shipping Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts therein.
